Baleistic

You’ve probably heard Christian Bale’s explosive rant on the set of Terminator 4 by now; it’s been blogged, remixed and parodied everywhere since it leaked 2 months ago.  Now it’s also been animated thanks to Spline Doctors, the excellent blog run by some of the guys from Pixar to help animators hone their craft. They set a competition task for their readers to animate a section of Bale’s rant. Our own Chris O’Hara entered with Baleistic…and won!

Ballyfermot Reunion

Back in 1993, I ahem…. ‘left’ Ballyfermot Animation College ready to join the analogue world of animation. I learned life long skills such as how to edit on a Steinbeck, shoot animation under a 35mm rostrum camera, hand paint ‘Cels’ and how computers were a strange thing of the future.

So last Wednesday, Ballyfermot College had a reunion of past pupils and teachers. People we hadn’t seen in 16 years appeared as if Facebook had suddenly come to life.
