Baby Olivia rocks out to ‘Olivia’

The best part of working in animation is seeing kids’ reaction to the shows we create. Sometimes that’s easy to forget when we’re in the middle of production madness, so it’s nice to be reminded.  Here’s a little clip of baby Olivia proving she’s not too young to rock out to Darren Hendley’s Olivia theme song on TV!

  2. Me and my daughter love this song too! Was it originally composed for the animation series or is it an original 1920’s/30’s naughty trad song? Who is Darren Hendley? It’s such a great hit, even though my daughter’s name isn’t Olivia – we sing it all the same – OOO Oh Olivia incantation it’s all the rage in our household – we want more, we want the whole song – so any further info would be great – thanks.

  3. Hi there, glad you love the Olivia theme tune – we never get sick of it here at the studio! Yes, it is an original composition by Darren Hendley, a really talented musician & songwriter who writes the music for a lot of TV series made in Ireland. His little niece Heidi is the lead vocal on the track. She recorded a guide vocal but everyone fell in love with it and knew it couldn’t be bettered. Heidi rocks! :)
