Here’s some shots from a commercial we finished a few months back. It was for Foster Care, and was a lovely brief to work to. They wanted it to have a lived in feel. So we decided to make the characters slightly wobbly and off kilter. There isn’t a straight line in the whole commercial!
We liked the idea that it has a child like charm, as if a kid directed the making of it. Lots of bright colours, simple designs, and big smiles.
The lines have a very rough line. We wanted to have it like this, but found that the software we were using didn’t pick it up in the way we hoped for. The amount of time we spent trying to get the line quality right was un-real. Who knew!?
