As part of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year nomination, a trip to Rio and San Paolo in Brazil was organised in June for over 60 entrepeneurs. This was an exceptional opportunity to see Brazil and network with the great and the good of Irish business. Business presentations and meetings punctuated the day and our hotel looked out onto the Copacabana beach.
Some nights the local Brasilian rum gave some of us the false confidence to venture into the local samba dancing nightclubs which confirmed my dancing dyslexia (although I’m pretty sure I was not alone). This photo shows an impromptu ceili at a busy San Paolo airport that was like an hilarious entrepreneurial version of Fatboy Slim’s Praise You video.
Brazil really is an amazing country to visit and we hope to explore working with some of the brilliant animation studios there, especially as Brasil has a co-production treaty with Canada.
