Dexter meets Noddy

Blogs from me have been thin on the ground as of late but my main excuse is that:

a) I am in heavy pre-production on a (as yet to be announced officially) new show… &
b) I have become a Daddy for the first time!

I had all of the usual warnings about parenthood and about how it changes your life and the sleepless nights ahead, but all of these warnings still do not truly prepare you for the intensity of the whole experience.

So last week, baby Dexter had his first visit to the studio.

He was singularly unimpressed by the whole experience, failing to open his eyes for even a moment! If only he could sleep like this at night!

He even got a one-on-one meeting with some of the inhabitants of Toyland with Noddy himself taking some time out of his busy schedule… and Dex slept through the whole thing.

Oh well.

I seem to recall in Irish class I was able to affect this sleeping position vertically. It was a true gift.

  4. Ah,yes Doc. I too am at the no sleep, zombie phase! The fun never stops. They keep you up at night and then during the day they ignore you unless they want food or want to crap all over you. Still, they soon grow out of that… My three year old now loves waking me up a few times per night (between my baby feeds) to ask for hugs and to tell me she has found a hair on her soother! Happy times! And despite all that, its soooo worth it! Enjoy!
