At the moment there’s a cantankerous blemish on Brown Bag Films’ development slate. Granny O’Grimm is loitering around, demanding attention and a television series.
We’ve been working away on a series bible and some scripts, and asking Granny what she thinks of fairytales such as the Little Mermaid, The Gingerbread Man and the rest of them.
She doesn’t think much of them as it turns out: “That Little Mermaid fancied herself too much by half. Turning her nose up at the local merboys to chase a human Prince. It was far from princes she was reared let me tell you. And where did the Gingerbread Man’s notions of escaping to a better life get him? Dead inside in a fox, that’s where”.

In any case, we’re off to Rogaland, Norway in September, to unleash Granny on the broadcasters of Europe at the Cartoon Forum. God help them.
Look out for more Granny O’Grimm developments in the very near future…she’s on a bit of a rampage.
